| Who Am I? -
First I want to thank you for visiting our site and taking a moment to find out a little more about me.
I am Christina McDaniel, wife, mother, business owner, housekeeper, cook, gardener... I am an Austinite, born and raised right here in the heart of Texas. Growing up and living in a city so full or art of all kinds, helped me to explore everything handmade and always gave me the encouragement to do more. My 2 beautiful girls, Emily age 5 and Hannah age 1, have been my biggest inspiration always needing something special to wear or use. But I have had the crafting bug since long before they came a long.
I got my start in crafting very early as a girl scout. We made teddy bears for our dolls, hairbows for our selves, homecoming mums and more. I furthered my sewing in middle school when I took home economics, and had a lot of encouragement at home from my parents and my grandmother who always got me whatever stitch kits or supplies I needed.

| Dilly Dally -
I didn't always make clothes and goodies for kids, I didn't really need to until my first one got here. But once she did arrive, she needed the very best in clothing, hair accessories, blankets, burp cloths and more!
Well, the more I made and the more she wore, the more people asked where I got everything she wore (isn't this what we all like about handmade items???). So I started to think that maybe I could sell some of this, and in 2006 I started my business. But then it needed a name. After throwing around quite a few names, my husband ended up picking Dilly Dally. The inspiration for the name? A super cute yarn we saw at Hobby Lobby while buying supplies! Yep, something that simple seemed perfect for kiddos (whose don't dilly dally around most of the time?) and all the fun stuff that I can make for theme.

| My Products -
Although this business was started with a few hairbows at a small craft show, it has grown to include all type of hair accessories, clothing, gift, gear and more! Here is a general idea of what I have to offer:
Hair Accessories - hair bows, headbands, clippies, beanies, hats, flowers clips
Clothing - twirl skirts, jumpers, dresses, tops, capris, pants, ribbon jeans, skirts
Gifts - blankets, hooded towels, burp cloths, hair bow holders
Gear - reusable zipper snack bags, wet bags, boo boo bags, diaper bags
Custom Orders - I am always accepting custom orders, if there is an item you like that you want in a different color or fabric, a fabric or ribbon you would like on something else, or if you just have something in mind that you can't find, just email me and we can work together to come up with exactly what you're looking for!

| Why Buy Dilly Dally? -
All of my items are handcrafted by me in my brand new (and finally kind of organized) studio. There are no pets (unless you count my kids) and absolutely no chance of a smoker allowed anywhere near this room - which means no funky smells or animal hairs on your items!
I buy my fabrics, ribbons, trims and other necessities from a variety of stores here in Austin and on the internet. I only buy the best of what I find and all items meet all of the new laws for children's safety requirements. They are safe for your kids and mine, otherwise I wouldn't use them!
I make each and every item one at a time and take the time needed to make sure that everything is just right! I then package it with love and ship it out to just as fast as I can, I know how much you want to get your items right away, I'm the same way. And remember that every item that I list has first been made and tried on my kids, I don't sell anything that I would not use here at home.

Although I make each and every Dilly Dally item listed on my site, I also carry a couple of other brands. They are from a few companies that I love and I make sure that they are of the best quality. If you ever have a problem with an item you order please contact me right away so that I can take care of it right away! Also contact me about anything you don't see here that you would like to. I'm always looking to add new products and would love input!
